Student Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct for Online Classes at BeKoder Institute:

  1. Proper Identification:
  • Students must use their proper full names as registered with BeKoder Institute when joining online sessions. Nicknames, pseudonyms, or any other names are not allowed. Failure to use the proper name may result in removal from the session.
  1. Behavior and Etiquette:
  • Speaking Protocol: Students should remain muted during the class unless given permission to speak. Interrupting the instructor or other students is strictly prohibited.
  • Online Disputes: Engaging in fights, arguments, or any form of disruptive behavior with instructors or fellow students during the online session is not allowed.
  • Audio and Video Disturbances: Playing music, videos, or any other form of media during the class is prohibited unless it’s part of the class activity and approved by the instructor.
  • Screen Sharing: Students are not allowed to share their screens during the class unless explicitly instructed or permitted by the instructor.
  • Respectful Interaction: All students are expected to interact respectfully with instructors and peers. Bullying, harassment, or inappropriate comments will not be tolerated.
  • Background Environment: Ensure a quiet environment free from distractions. Background noises such as television, loud conversations, or household appliances should be minimized.
  • Profile Picture: If used, profile pictures should be appropriate and professional. Images that are offensive or inappropriate will lead to removal from the session.
  • Chat Etiquette: Use the chat function responsibly. Do not spam, use all caps, or share irrelevant links/materials.
  1. Digital Integrity:
  • Confidentiality: Do not share class recordings, materials, or links with non-enrolled individuals.
  • Software and Platforms: Only use authorized software and platforms as directed by the instructor. Unauthorized tools or software are prohibited.
  • Plagiarism: All submitted work should be original. Copying or using someone else’s work without proper citation is strictly prohibited.
  1. Consequences of Misbehavior:
  • Violations of the code of conduct may result in a warning, temporary suspension from the class, or, in severe cases, termination of enrollment from BeKoder Institute. The specific action taken will be at the discretion of the instructor and the administration of BeKoder Institute.
  1. Feedback and Concerns:
  • Students are encouraged to provide constructive feedback about the online learning experience. Any concerns or issues should be communicated to the instructor or the administration in a respectful and timely manner.
